Cara Delevingne Poses (Almost) Nude in New YSL Beauty Campaign

Cara Delevingne might want to quit modeling to focus on her budding acting career, but for at least one last time, she’s stripping down for YSL Beauté’s sexy new campaign ad (her favorite mode of modeling).

The sultry ad is for the cosmetics brand’s rich, glossy Rouge Pur Couture lip products, and features the supermodel, who’s also a brand ambassador for the label, seductively lounging in a worn-in leather chair wearing a sleek black Saint Laurent blazer — and nothing else.

“A colour so bold you’d feel naked without it #YSLrougepurcouture #YSLbeauty,” claims the Instagram ad.

For the 23-year-old, though, the nearly naked look in isn’t anything new. In fact, we’re fairly certain every prestige beauty brand in the industry must be on the same page when it comes to coordinating nude campaigns with the supermodel.

After doing some deep investigating (a.k.a. scrolling through Delevingne’s hundreds of Instagrams), we’ve found that a heavy dose of the her beauty ads feature her wearing next to nothing. Don’t believe us? See below for proof.

For the launch of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid fragrance, Delevingne posed with the scent’s black bottle in a shallow pool of water alongside purple orchids. And if you didn’t notice, yes, she’s wearing her birthday suit.

Or what about the My Burberry campaign she starred in with Kate Moss? Sure, they were both rocking the label’s iconic trenches, but after closer examination, you’ll notice the there’s not much else happening beneath those plaid interiors.

And while this may not be a beauty ad (or is it?), Delevingne bared it all in this gorgeous YSL image.

So, how does the model feel about posing naked? Turns out, it’s just as uncomfortable as we’d imagine it to be. “I am a bit of a feminist and it makes me feel sick,” she told The Times about quitting modeling. “It’s horrible and it’s disgusting. [We’re talking about] young girls. You start when you are really young and you do, you get subjected to … not great stuff.”
