Catwalk Confessions: Tyra Banks Speaks On If She’d Ever Reconsider Modeling

It’s impossible to look at Tyra Banks and not think she should be on someone’s runway. But the America’s Next Top Model creator has long retired. So when Andy Cohen asked her on a recent episode of  Watch What Happens Live if she’d ever reconsider modeling for Victoria Secert, we crossed our fingers that she would say yes. Instead the television producer explained:

“I have been asked to do a reunion many years ago and I said no because I was trying to be taken seriously as a talk show host and as an executive producer and as a businesswoman. I don’t know if I would. But whenever I see them, I feel like we have a connection, these Angels, because we’re like the O.G. original Angels. Like, that was invented on us,” Banks explained. “And, the president of Victoria’s Secret promised me a lifetime supply of Victoria’s Secret products, even after I decided to leave the company. But once I left, he only let me have it for a year. So I have a bone to pick.”

TyTy served as a model for Victoria Secret from 1997 to 2005, and has smized her way to countless magazine covers and photo shoots. And now at 40-years-old, we feel that she still has the look and talent (if not more) than models half her age. Don’t believe us?
