CFDA Awards 2015: Did Julianna Margulies Have a Wardrobe Malfunction?

These days a sheer dress on the red carpet hardly calls for a second glance — after all, Jennifer Lopez has practically cornered the market on everything see-through, skin-tight and sparkly. But Julianna Margulies made us do a double take when she posed for the cameras at the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night. (And, no, it’s not just because we can’t imagine The Good Wife in such a revealing number!)

For the event — which counted Kim Kardashian West, Amanda Seyfried, Taraji P. Henson, among others, as presenters — the 48-year-old star opted for what, in theory, sounds like a modest selection: A sparkly long-sleeve black gown with a keyhole neckline. Except under the photographers’ flashing bulbs, her Michael Kors Collection dress revealed a peek at her black briefs beneath. Was it on purpose? Was it an accident? It’s kind of hard to say. Either way, she’s owning it.

Only one thing’s for sure: It’s no #Nipplegate moment.
