Cindy Crawford’s Family Vacation Photos Are Vogue-Worthy, of Course

Cindy Crawford is no stranger to the pages of Vogue, but this time the iconic ’90s supermodel is posing with her genetically gifted teenage children, Presley and Kaia Gerber. The gorgeous family graces the magazine’s September issue, posing at their secluded lake vacation home in Ontario, Canada.

“You’re the real you up here,” Crawford tells Vogue of the tranquil, private town where her family has been vacationing every summer for years. “You never have your game face on, your party face. When you’re getting dragged behind a boat on an inner tube, it’s hard to have much of a facade.” (The star adds that she rarely wears any makeup and loves to go for “granny swims” in her one-piece swimsuits.)

Crawford’s 13-year-old daughter, Kaia, landed a modeling contract with IMG earlier this year, and now adds her first US Vogue shoot to her growing portfolio. She poses in a casual white shirt dress with minimal makeup, bearing a striking resemblance to her famous mom. (Vogue notes that Crawford is saving her vintage Alaïa collection for her daughter.)

Kaia also poses alongside brother Presley, hanging off one of their lake docks. (Yes, Crawford and Gerber made the perfect looking children.)

Crawford, who turns 50 next year, also opens up about welcoming her age.

“There are days — not up here [Ontario], thankfully — when I feel I need to deliver that Cindy Crawford thing,” she shares. “But I’ve gained so much confidence with age. That’s something I never felt early on, even if my generation of models was paid to radiate it — the shoulder pads, glamazon, hair out to there, boobs up to here. It would have been nice to have all that confidence in my 20-year-old body.”
