Congrats To Zoe Saldana! She’s The New Face Of L’Oreal Paris

Zoe Saldana is one of those graceful beauties that always gets a spot on our best-dressed lists. L’Oreal Paris thinks she’s “ravishing” as well and has enlisted the Puerto Rican Hollywood star to be their new spokesperson for 2014.

In an eloquent statement about being appointed the new spokesperson, Zoe made clear how appreciative she was of the honor, saying “Growing up, I was taught to believe that I am capable to do anything a man can do. This family philosophy has shaped who I am today, and is a conviction that will always accompany me through life. As a L’Oréal Paris Spokesperson, being able to say ‘We’re worth it’ means so much to me. I want to share that value with women so they can embrace it and execute life with confidence. I am thrilled to join this beauty journey with such an inspirational brand.”

Zoe, whose favorite L’Oreal product is Extraordinaire by Color Riche lip color, will join the ranks of fellow spokespersons including Julianne Moore, Freida Pinto, Eva Longoria, Blake Lively, Lara Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Laetitia Casta, and Jane Fonda.

Outside of her L’Oreal duties, the actress, whose last blockbuster was 2013′s “Star Trek: Into Darkness,” has a bunch of films set for release in 2014, including the Nina Simone biopic, “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and the indie flick “Infinitely Polar Bear.” It was also recently announced that James Cameron is planning on three additional “Avatar” films where she’ll reprise her role of Neytiri over the coming years.

We can’t wait to see how Zoe will make her mark on L’Oreal in the coming months and we look forward to seeing her back on the big screen, too. Big congrats to L’Oreal on nabbing such a fantastic spokesperson and to Zoe for her honor.
