Diane Kruger often tops Best Dressed lists for her chic and sophisticated looks. And the star definitely didn’t disappoint at Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars in New York event on Thursday. She did however, leave longtime boyfriend Joshua Jackson at home, and brought another man as her date — close friend and designer, Jason Wu!

Kruger looked stunning in a sheer, black and lace number from Wu’s Spring 2016 collection paired with strappy Jimmy Choo heels and a classic red lip.
The Troy star told us we all need “a leather shearling coat” for our winter wardrobe and recommends Coach, confessing she just bought one of her own from the line.

And with the season change comes a closet revamp. The star dished on what goes down when she cleans out her treasure trove of a closet: “I’m very generous, I’m not a hoarder at all” she shared, “every 6 months [my six goddaughters] come and we go through stuff and they get it all!”
Those are some lucky girls!
Kruger recently wrapped shooting dramatic thriller Sky where she’s starring alongside Lena Dunham, who the star described as “so fun” to work with “exactly what you would think she would be.”
