It was a big weekend for celebrity hair changes. (See: Selena Gomez’s new bangs and Dakota Johnson’s return to blonde.) And now we have another star to add to the list: Drew Barrymore went dark for fall.

Barrymore left her blonde ombré highlights behind for a much richer brunette shade with an auburn sheen. The mom of two and beauty maven debuted her new look at Stella McCartney’s Green Collection reveal during London Fashion Week. And it looks like she’s changing up her makeup routine a bit to go with her new hair, opting for pale skin, a bold red lip and a bare eye (it takes a brave lady to rock a bright lip sans mascara).

And while we have a feeling the mane-changing beauty will bring back her blonde hair at some point, one thing she’s not missing? Those ’90s bangs she once had. “I’d do the blow dryer and the AquaNet at the same time on my bangs. And that wasn’t so attractive,” she told PEOPLE of her biggest hair regret. “I looked like Peppermint Patty.”
