Drew Barrymore on Other Celebrity Beauty Lines: ‘We Should Be Celebrating and Supporting Each Other’

Drew Barrymore‘s cosmetics and fragrance line, Flower Beauty, has been hugely successful (and highly affordable) since its launch, but according to the beauty mogul, she’s just getting started.

Flower Beauty is made up of color cosmetics, including eye shadows, eye liners, blushes and more, three seductive scents and now sunglasses, but Barrymore says the line is expanding — with a few pieces she’s really excited about, including a complexion corrector that hides almost every blemish.

“Our EE cream that’s coming out in January — it erases everything,” she told PEOPLE at Refinery29’s 29Rooms launch event in N.Y.C. “It’s a weird innovation that we’re going to be first to market with. I’m very excited!”

But with great beauty innovations come many challenges — especially when competing against cosmetics giants in the industry, Barrymore says.

“There was a lot to do with the marketing and 200 products, and then we do at least 40 to 50 new products every year so it’s constant — I think that’s the biggest challenge,” she said. “You want to feel like, ‘Oh my God, we killed it this year and we did our best,’ and we’ll take a little break and focus on next year. There’s never a break, especially in the cosmetics world.”

Which is why the beauty mogul often looks to other powerful women in the industry (and their beauty collections) for inspiration.

“Terry de Gunzburg’s By Terry — that line — she’s a celebrity to me,” she gushed. “Bobbi Brown is a celebrity.”

And speaking of celebrity, Barrymore added that she also shops fellow entrepreneur Jessica Alba‘s Honest Company.

“There’s some wonderful stuff happening out there, including Honest and lots of other makeup artists and women,” she told PEOPLE. “It’s great. We should all be celebrating each other and supporting each other.” After all, isn’t happiness the best cosmetic?
