Everyone Voted And This Frankenwoman Is The Perfect Female Celeb

In a move only slightly less creepy than what Dr. Frankenstein was doing in his laboratory, E! asked the people of the world (aka Internet poll-takers, the cream of society’s crop) to pick and choose the best body parts of their favorite celebs. It was an effort to create a vision of what the public considers “The Perfect Female Celeb,” but what really happened was a reinforcement of the unattainable beauty standards so many women are faced with each day.

E!’s Frankenceleb disallows women the privilege of being their own self–now perfect women must have Jessica Alba’s smile but Rihanna’s abs, Sofia Vergara’s chest but Carrie Underwood’s hair. On what must have been a slow news day, E!’s attempt to draw attention to their plastic surgery gone wrong show Botched really just made them look a bit foolish.

Did they forget that perfect doesn’t exist? Have they not picked up on the whole natural beauty trend that’s been making waves in the industry? Women (and enlightened men) are fed up with the unrealistic beauty standards that so strongly pollute the minds of our nation’s people. Perfect doesn’t exist and it shouldn’t have to.

We don’t mean to go overboard on what’s clearly meant to be a lighthearted story, but the fact remains that each lighthearted story that talks about celebrity perfection (which is really just smoke and mirrors anyway) adds to the greater problem at hand. And that’s something we don’t need.

To check out the entire “perfect” body see here, if you’re so inclined.
