Fact: Instagram was invented to capture Katy Perry’s trip to Havana.
The “Firework” singer posted a series of bright and vibrant photos from her trip to the Caribbean island alongside some gal pals and her longtime friend Moschino designer Jeremy Scott. Capturing the beauty of Cuba, Perry posed in colorful dresses, rode in bright vintage cars and mingled with locals during her trip and urged fans to “go there before it changes.”

In New York City, fashion and Hollywood collided for the Balmain x H&M launch party, complete with Backstreet Boys concert. In Brooklyn, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj teamed up for the Tidal X 1020 concert, and in Los Angeles the Kardashian clan celebrated Kim Kardashian’s 35th birthday with baby bumps and Steve Jobs.
