There is something called the FOMO effect, and it reaches it peak on Instagram.
The fear of missing out, or FOMO, is a very real condition that is caused by the super glamorous moments captured in the filtered frame of your IG page. In the summer, FOMO reaches epidemic levels as your favorite celebs show off their summer vacations, their famous friends and their stunning designer threads.
Rihanna did not care about your FOMO when she posted a slew of #Cropover2015 photos in her bedazzled costume, and dancing it up in Barbados. Jourdan Dunn also took part in the carnival festivities, and snapped away.
A long-hair Lupita Nyong’o, Karlie Kloss and Poppy Delevingne also showed off their bikini bodies on equally fun summer vacations, while Kim Kardashian went from eating beignets in New Orleans to taking selfies with Hillary Clinton.
