New York & Company just debuted their new “Jennifer Hudson Jean” and if you’ve ever been skeptical of a high-waisted pant, this piece is completely going to change your mind.

Hudson told PeopleStyle she’s pumped to partner with the company to create the perfect jeans. “For me, comfort is everything so I really appreciate the high waist and super soft feel of the jeans, and yet they still look amazing because of their curve-flattering fit,” she shared. “I’m excited to offer this curated collection of my favorite pieces to the New York & Company woman.”

While Hudson has the denim department covered, another celeb designer, Eva Mendes, teamed up with the brand to create flirty, floral pieces. She told PEOPLE back when she started that she’s “definitely not a ‘jeans’ girl. I’m a dress and skirt girl, and I think that I gravitate towards things that are very feminine.”
