Stella McCartney is definitely one collection that we wait for with baited breath every season, and as each seasonal range rolls round she knocks our novelty socks off.
This year she chose to showcase in L.A. versus New York, noting about the collection, “Right now [L.A.] is kind of on fire.”
Her Pre Fall 2016 pieces took on an eclectic feel in Stella McCartney’s “fur-free-fur” fabrics, adorned with hand-illustrated cat portraits. A melange of technically constructed knitwear, over-sized coats, tulle festooned dresses, clean lined trousers and separates, made for a well rounded selection of ready-to-wear. The Pre Fall 16’ accessories deserve there own standing ovation, with leather mules, block heeled buckle loafers, a box clutch and mini sized bucket bags, oh my!
The collection boasted a color palette of nude, dove grey, midnight black, polka-dot and animal prints with gold accents. With all things Stella McCartney, we will be hitting the buy-it-now buttons as soon as the collection hits!
