Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson Break Up Again

After Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson both decided to give their relationship another shot just a few months ago, the two have decided to call it quits for the second time. The young couple split after dating for a year back in May 2014, and got back together six months later in November. Now, another six months later, the two have split due to their busy schedules.

According to US Weekly, Gigi Hadid’s rep confided, “Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career.” Between Gigi’s recurring roles for Guess and Maybelline and Cody’s tour, it’s no wonder that their schedules have caused a strain on their relationship.

Despite the break up, there’s no ill will here. The rep went on to say, “They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future. They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other’s biggest supporters.”
