Selena Gomez has the kind of hair that girls will spend hours trying to achieve, so her latest venture makes perfect sense. Yesterday (June 15), the 22 year old announced that she is the new ambassador for Pantene Pro-V, along with this gorgeous shot of her locks on full display (above).
The former Disney starlet is hoping to embody the campaign slogan, “strong is beautiful,” with her work as the brand’s fresh and fun rep.
Per MTV:
“The three reasons I’m excited to be Pantene‘s new ambassador are: I’ve used it my whole life, and, second, their message for women [about how] being strong is beautiful and what they represent is so what I embody. … And third, it’s fun. It’s so fun to feel like your inner girl, playing with your hair and just feeling beautiful.”
Additionally, Gomez is set to premiere her new single “Good For You,” and an accompanying video on June 22. Anyone who follows the actress/singer on Instagram has seen her spending time with HitBoy and rumored beau Zedd, so we’re expecting a very different sound this time around.
