Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: In my opinion, Kylie’s finest style moments were her too-cute-for-the-red-carpet days, clad in matching outfits to her sister Kendall and being carried by her parents at glitzy Hollywood events. The hairbows, the velvet, the flats (which she’s now officially sworn off for life): it was all so sweet and innocent, taking us back to a blissful time before she showed off her duct-taped boobs on Snapchat and insisted that Caitlyn Jenner try out her line of hair extensions. Now Kylie would wear that dress as a top with high-waisted jorts and sky-high heels. Sigh. Were we ever so young?

Lindy Segal, Style Social Editor: Ready for this? Kylie’s Seventeen Prom cover is less than two years old! She looked totally adorable, and totally age-appropriate. (I love the girl, but she does not dress like an 18-year-old.) I’m not saying I want to see her in beaded prom dresses all the time, but I do miss Kylie’s typical-teenager days.

Despite the length of her shorts, the black-and-white Sass & Bide look she sported to pump gas (because, Kylie) was surprisingly sophisticated thanks to the tailored jacket and classic print, and I like how she styled it with a simple tank and minimalist heels.

While we’re used to seeing the starlet wear some of the plungiest, borderline over-the-top outfits both on and off the red carpet, I love this look because it’s a fresh take on the Kardashian-Jenner krew’s traditional skin-baring ensembles. The crop top and high-waisted leggings are youthful and fun, but when they’re paired with the crisp white coat and heels, Kylie manages to look a little more grown up and a lot more stylish.
