We’ve all seen the movies Bridesmaids and 27 Dresses, right? Those are some of the issues we’re trying to fix! Vow To Be Chic is the only company that rents designer bridesmaid dresses. We offer gorgeous dresses from the designers that women know and love, but save our customers 50-88 percent off the price by allowing them to rent rather than buy. Typically bridesmaids pay $300 for a dress (plus $100 to alter it), only to wear the dress once. That’s no longer the case!”

On the benefits of renting versus just buying a dress: “First and foremost, you can wear a designer dress that you may not have been able to afford, or willing to purchase, while at the same time saving money. Especially for a dress you know you’ll only wear once, such as a bridesmaid dress, what’s not to love? Let’s be honest. We’re living in the totally-connected world of social media. For formal dresses, and especially bridesmaids dresses, once you’ve worn it once, you usually don’t want to wear it again because your entire network has already seen it in 100 pictures. It really makes the most sense to rent it.”

On trends she foresees for this upcoming wedding season: “Long dresses and convertible dresses are incredibly popular right now. With convertible dresses you can create a wide range of styles and unique looks from the same dress, allowing each bridesmaid to express individuality and adjust the dress to suit her body type. Navy has been really popular lately. It has such a rich, luxe look for sophisticated, elegant weddings. (Blush and neutral shades are also always popular for spring.) We’re constantly updating our inventory to not only appeal to trending colors and styles, but requests from our customers. We have a policy of really listening to our customers and potential customers. It helps us stay aware of what people want.”
