Her monster engagement ring makes quite a statement, so we knew Jenny McCarthy‘s wedding band would have to be pretty bold to compete. And we were right. The recently-married star showed a first look at the ring — and it’s Flashy (yes, with a capital F!).

McCarthy’s now sporting a thick gold band with pavé diamonds circling around both edges. And the gold echoes the mega-carat yellow sapphire at the center of her engagement ring.

A source at the wedding told PEOPLE that guest Carmen Electra was blown away by the bride’s new bling. “Carmen checked out Jenny’s wedding ring, which Donnie had engraved with their initials,” the insider said. “She said it was one of the most beautiful things she’d ever seen.”

And both McCarthy and her new husband Donnie Wahlberg are thrilled to spend their lives together. “She could not stop talking about how over the moon she was with her wedding and her life as a married woman,” the source added. “She talked about how the reception wasn’t too over-the-top.”
