Joe Zee Rumored To Leave Elle For Yahoo!

Yahoo has been giving itself a makeover of sorts since the appointment of Marissa Mayer as president and CEO. The most recent of which is the rumored replacement of Yahoo Shine with a series of online lifestyle “magazines”. Although they’ve kept mum about their new venture, their personnel acquisitions have been pretty high profile. First Bobbi Brown was confirmed as editor in chief of their beauty site and now Joe Zoe is their most recent recruit. According to WWD, multiple sources have confirmed that the creative director has accepted an offer to oversee Yahoo’s fashion vertical.
When questioned on the matter, a spokeswoman from Elle told WWD, “we don’t speculate on employee matters.” So now we can only wait and see while speculating as to Zee’s possible replacements.
