Kendall Jenner Walks in Givenchy’s First N.Y.C. Show

Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci has many muses — from Kim Kardashian to Julia Roberts to even fellow designer Donatella Versace, he rarely limits himself to one famous face at a time. But there is one A-lister who’s become somewhat of a constant in his work: Kendall Jenner. And she appeared again Friday night at the line’s star-packed, avant-garde, first-ever N.Y.C. show.

The star model walked down the runway third, clad in a white lace top with ribbon details and black pants. Like many of the other models, she wore her hair tightly brushed back, with spare makeup and a glowy complexion. (She got off easy: Several models had to have lace and pearls glued to their faces.) And though the uneven terrain on the show’s runway, which was set at Pier 26 and featured several “stairways” made up of crates, got the better of several models, Jenner made it down the runway without a hitch.

She was hardly the only A-lister to make it to the show. Her older sister Kim, wearing, well, the usual, showed up accompanied by husband Kanye West; divas including Jennifer Hudson, Ciara and Nicki Minaj all attended; Julia Roberts, Hailee Steinfeld, Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Amanda Seyfried rounded out the actress slots; and fellow designers including Tory Burch, Vera Wang and Michael Kors all turned out to support Tisci’s stateside debut.

After the runway show, which was conceived with artist Marina Abramovic as a tribute to the lives lost on 9/11 (and took place in the shadow of the new One World Trade Center), celebs migrated to the equally hot-ticket afterparty, where guests including Ashley Madekwe and Laverne Cox joined the festivities under a giant sign that said “I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF LOVE.” (But if you followed PeopleStyle on Snapchat, you’d know all that already!)

What did you think of the show?
