Kylie Jenner’s Infamous Pout Blamed For Makeup Shortage

More specifically, MAC’s lip pencil in Spice. Currently, the beauty is unavailable online, and according to the Grazia Daily, the shade is getting harder and harder to get your hands on, and Jenner is the main culprit.

Jenner’s lips have been the catalyst of several, sometimes, dangerous trends in the past months. Along with the horrible social media trend “The Kylie Jenner Challenge,” Jenner’s lips were the topic of speculation for months before the 17-year-old reality star admitted to injections.

The frenzy for the lip pencil could be that before admitting her lips were in fact fake, Jenner and her sisters were adament that Jenner got her pout from using lip pencils.

“She draws her lip, and it looks amazing,” Kim told U.K. beauty blog Pixiwoo. “And I go into her room like ’What liner do you wear?’ because she only wears a lip liner and she fills it in she doesn’t wear a lipstick or a lip gloss. But she’s so good at makeup, every event she does it herself.”

So despite the fact that Jenner’s lips are courtesy of injections, and not lip liner, it looks like fans are still lining up (pun intended) for the makeup staple to attempt to recreate the look.

However, Jenner’s next go-to shade “Soar” is still in stock, so hurry before that suns out too.

Add lip pencils to the ever growing list of products experiencing a shortage, including chocolate, avocados and bees.
