#LFW Day One Recap: Designers Bring Out The Best Jackets For Spring

jacket edit

London Fashion Week started yesterday and though we’re excited to see what designers from the city have to offer, we weren’t too impressed by what was shown so far. On the whole, we were more struck by the outerwear than anything else.

We understand that like fall, spring has cool days and requires a jacket, but we still feel a bit out of touch every time we see a jacket or coat hit a spring runway — though we swoon whenever there are good ones. Thankfully, yesterday’s selection of jackets were definitely swoon worthy.

Designer twins Felder Felder delivered a 60s-inspired collection filled with metallic, vegan leather, cowboy boots and numerous jackets. Our favorite was the black covetable option with the long fringe hem. Eudon Choi also put outerwear down the runway, but our favorite of the bunch was a sleeveless, double-breasted, floral style with matching pants.

Take a look below to see what other outerwear designers had to offer on the first day of LFW.
