Lululemon is on a mission to upgrade your athleisure collection – this time, in the form of a brand new hire. The activewear label announced its decision to appoint its very first creative director, WWD reports, tapping Lee Holman – former senior vice president of women’s at Lululemon – to fill the newly acquired position.

The change comes as the brand is on an ambitious mission to constantly reinvent its active apparel – specifically, those must-have yoga pants. And with Holman’s resume, hopefully they’ll succeed in doing just that. The creative director hails from Nike, where he served as its vice president of global apparel, innovation and equipment design, before taking his talents to Lululemon. And did we mention that he’s also designed at brands like Levi’s and Burberry – which, if you ask us, makes a pretty solid roster.

But aside from its new position, there have been some additional changes to Lululemon’s leadership, including the departure of its chief product officer, Tara Posely, and a search for the brand’s first chief supply chain officer.

According to Fashionista, Holman will continue to unify women’s and men’s design under one clear vision. And we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the seasoned fashion vet will continue the athletic label’s recent upward trend – only time will tell.
