#Major: Eva Chen Is Taking Her Talents To Instagram

Ever since Eva Chen announced her resignation from Lucky Magazine–which recently stopped print issues–social media followers have anxiously waited to see what her next move would be. Unsurprisingly, she’s headed to a pretty amazing gig.
Earlier today–which is coincidentally “World Emoji Day”–the former Editor In Chief announced that she will be working for Instagram….on Instagram.
“Beyond excited to announce that I’ll be joining the brilliant team at Instagram as head of fashion partnerships!,” she wrote under the above post.
What does this mean exactly? Unlike her previous positions at Elle, Teen Vogue and more, Eva will instead utilize her editorial and creative expertise as she coordinates business relationships between the social network and its countless influencers.
Per Yahoo Style:
“This is not an editorial role, but having an editorial eye and ability to curate will be an important one,“ she said. “It’s a partnerships role, but it’s not unlike my role as an editor. At the heart of it, it’s the love of fashion, brands, stylists and influencers and finding their stories.”
With over 300,000 Instagram followers and a world famous hashtag–#EvaChenPose— to her name, we have a feeling the new mom will kick butt at her new post.
