Makeup Monday: Trade In Your Foundation For CC Cream This Spring

Hey ladies!

So, summer is here and the last thing you want is a nasty makeup meltdown. Although we love foundation and the coverage it carries, this isn’t the ideal choice for hot weather.

Color control cream, or “CC Cream” is a great alternative because it’s super lightweight and still covers up blemishes. Combined with a shimmery blush, you can achieve that effortless, dewy look for hot summer days and nights.

Products: Artistry’s Rose Diamond 3D Powder & Artistry Ideal Radiance Illuminating CC Cream

1. Healthy skin looks smooth and luminous.  To achieve this result I use 2 of my favorite Artistry products — Artistry Ideal Radiance Illuminating CC Cream and Artistry’s Rose Diamond 3D Face Powder. On clean skin and with clean hands, apply the Artistry Ideal Radiance Illuminating CC Cream.

2. You may apply the Artistry Ideal Radiance Illuminating CC Cream to the face starting on and around the nose and moving to the other areas, cheeks, fore head and chin — one area at a time. (I used my clean hands, but a makeup brush works as well.)

3. Sweep a small blush brush or a large eye shadow brush over the face powder and apply to the top of cheek bones, under the brow arch, above the cupid’s bow, and lightly down the bridge of the nose.

4. You may also apply this powder to the decolletage using a large powder brush and to your earlobes if you are wearing earrings with sparkle.
