New Obsession: Le Labo’s Made To Order Fragrances

Not often do I personally suggest buying something extremely expensive. Coming from a modest home, there wasn’t a lot of splurging going on, other than birthdays and major holidays. So to fall in love with a $200 perfume just felt wrong.

But it’s soo right.

While holiday shopping I was introduced to Le Labo, a New York-based perfumery with locations in London, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The unique company literally mixes their 15 scents fresh to order, which have unique elements like black pepper, cigar and mandarin orange. A personal favorite is the musky Rose 31 fragrance with “spicy and woodsy notes such as cumin, olibanum, cedar and a touch of amber.”

You will find no scents around like these, which is probably why they cost a pretty penny. A small .33oz travel tube cost $140 and a large 16.9oz perfume bottle will run you $820. Yes, this is not for the faint of heart.

On the upside, they have a ton of products like hand soaps, body washes, oils, rooms sprays and candles– which are handcrafted in San Francisco and Mississippi.

We’re obsessed, but learn more about the brand by going here.
