Nicky Hilton left London’s Claridge’s hotel for her Kensington Palace nuptials, wearing her regal, high-necked, lace sleeved Valentino gown, her cathedral-length veil blowing gracefully in the wind — and directly under the tire of her silver Bentley there to chauffeur her to the ceremony. She waited patiently (all the while panicking on the inside, we’re assuming) while onlookers struggled to release the delicate lace-trimmed headpiece from under the wheels of the expensive, elegant automobile.

But she made it into the car, serene and unscathed, and off to marry her gajillionaire heir fiancé James Rothschild at the home of Prince William and Princess Kate, so we’re guessing she wasn’t too pressed about the small glitch in her day.
