Not Everyone Is Excited About Yeezy Season 2 At NYFW

Photo: WENNKanye West’s last minute addition to the New York Fashion Week calendar is not good news for everyone, especially these two designers.
Yeezy Season 2 is set to show on September 16 at noon. Problem is Naeem Khan and Anne Bowen were scheduled for the same time slot, and Bowen is scrambling to reschedule.
According to WWD, Bowen was set to launch her new collection Nomad VII, and has been preparing for the show for over a year, compared the situation to David and Goliath.
“Kanye knows he is a media sensation and it is just not ethical to do this. It’s like we are David and he is Goliath. We have put our heart and soul into our show, and should not be stepped on like this,” Bowen said.
Bowen has filed a complaint with the CFDA Fashion Calendar, and will now be showing on September 17, to not compete with Yeezy Season 2. Khan, on the other hand, will not be rescheduling.
