Oscars 2015: Lady Gaga Goes Extra Gaga in Shiny Red Gloves (and a Mega Gown!)

Lady Gaga covered up her new favorite accessory — that heart-shaped engagement ring — at the Oscars with a pair of red shiny (rubber? leather?) gloves. And of course, Twitter was quick to react with the dishwasher memes.

“This was custom made by Mr. Azzedine Alaïa, and he’s so incredibly talented,” Gaga said of her white confection, which she paired with her unique gloves and a matching red hair accessory. No one’s surprised by her bold fashion choice (it’s what the star does best). Overall, it’s pretty tame for the star.
