Philip Treacy Has A M.A.C. Collaboration And You Want It
Philip Treacy is an artist. From the same run of the mill that Alexander McQueen is from. Don’t believe us? Well one of McQueen’s main supporters, Isabella Blow thought the same. So did McQueen himself. The two shared a working space for a bit and though McQueen was a notorious little thief he never touched Treacy’s things. And McQueen himself, he respected Treacy and never once, during all of their collaborations, attempted to control his creativeness.
Well as with most artists, his mainstay is simply his chosen medium. Hats aren’t the only thing that he can be artistic with.
For his latest artistic bender the milliner made a makeup line. Focusing on eyes, lips and cheeks, the line is already up and available. The collaboration is the latest for MAC after a link up with Giambattista Valli. Prices range from $16 to $32. They also used 3-D printers to make everything from containers for liquid to containers for powders. The line came inspired by a trio of hats the designer made.
