If your first thought upon seeing this image of Reese Witherspoon while out on a coffee run yesterday was not, “I am colorblind. Coffee black and egg white,” then you need to stop what you’re doing immediately and go brush up on a crucial piece of cinematic gold that is clearly missing from your artistic repertoire.

Anyone even remotely familiar with poor, sweet, innocent Annette, the character Reese famously played opposite Ryan Phillippe in Cruel Intentions, will immediately recognize the similarities between that role’s preppy, goody two-shoes style and this outfit the actress just wore to run errands in L.A. The Draper James gingham shirt, the merlot crewneck, the peacoat, and the Marc Jacobs backpack combined all practically scream “good girl caught in the midst of a nefarious seduction plot hatched by a boy and his evil step-sister.”
