Ryan Seacrest’s Exclusive American Idol Video Diary: Guys Use Double-Stick Tape Too!

In this week’s installment of his American Idol style diary, Seacrest (who wears another blue Ryan Seacrest Distinction suit) focuses on his signature pocket square style — and he’s getting specific. (You might want to take down a few notes for the guys in your life.)

“It’s not supposed to look absolutely perfect or completely lined up,” he advises on how to fold the accessory. “One thing I don’t do is use the same pattern on my tie as my pocket square. I don’t match it up perfectly.”

But the most important trick he has up his stylish sleeve is the secret to avoiding the square from slipping too far into the pocket. That’s where the double-sided tape comes in. “Go take this from your wife or your girlfriend, go grab it. She’ll never see your square sink.”
