From the runway to the streets, culottes are back in a big way for 2015. However, these wide leg shorts can be difficult to style and wear. But, if done correctly, culottes can be every cool girl’s summer staple.
Make sure to keep your proportions in mind when wearing culottes. They can cut your legs at an awkward length and the wideness of the legs can easily overwhelm any frame. Combat this by wearing a fitted or cropped top and if the cut is overwhelming, try wearing heels instead of flats.
To create a retro glam look, try styling a denim pair of culottes with a fringe bag and wooden wedges. Or you can take sporty spin with jersey culottes and a brightly colored backpack. Lastly for my petite ladies, try a shorter length culottes and lighten the mood with pastel accessories. Whatever your style, culottes are a must try trend!
