Uber is on a mission to change the e-commerce game, and we have a feeling this is going to be a major upgrade. According to Re/code, the transportation app is gearing up to launch express delivery services by partnering with big retailers and luxury fashion brands – which hopefully means you won’t have to waist your lunch hour taking that much-needed trip to Zara’s.

While additional details are still scarce, Re/code’s sources say Uber is expected to announce the partnership in the next month or so, with the program starting in New York City and San Francisco. So how would it work you ask? It’s simple: when shopping online, users would check a box on the retailer’s website for a same-day Uber delivery option, and finish checking out. And as far as we’re concerned, it really doesn’t get any better than that!

Specific brand names haven’t been named yet, but the transportation company is said to have partnerships with some luxury labels whose flagship stores are on or around Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. And in an effort to rapidly expand its global services, Uber is also reportedly in talks with sites like Shopify to allow its brick-and-mortar shoppers a rush delivery option.

What do you think StyleBlazers? Would you Uber your next online shopping order?
