The designer has a new range of pretty pink lingerie for breast cancer survivors and supporters. The first, the Alina Playing set, is a hot pink, ultra-feminine contour bra and bikini-style panty set, modeled by supermodel Cara Delevingne in the campaign ad.

“We were so thrilled when Cara said yes to this project because she represents a generation of young women that we are really trying to reach and catch the attention of,” McCartney said in a statement. “Cara also brings a level of coolness to the campaign; so there is no taboo, no shame involved. She has that confidence that we want to bring to a new generation of young women and also inspire all generations of women to be aware of breast cancer and to be aware that preventing it is the most positive approach.”

Delevingne follows supermodel vet Kate Moss, who previously fronted the campaign last October.

The Alina Playing set will retail for $55 to $110 exclusively at stellamccartney.com beginning Oct. 1, and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Linda McCartney Centre in the U.K., the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation in Australia.

For McCartney’s second lingerie project for BCA Month, the designer has launched the Louise Listening, a post-double mastectomy operation compression bra, named after her late mother, Linda Louise McCartney, who died of breast cancer in 1998.

The rose-colored bra, made of cotton and lace, was designed to bring comfort and confidence to women who have recently undergone surgery and are in the post-mastectomy healing process.

“We wanted to bring something feminine and beautiful into a bra that is taboo,” she said in a statement. “There are so many different emotions attached to the tragic realities of having had a double mastectomy, many cultures are unaccepting and terrible things happen to women both physically and emotionally. And we just wanted to make something that allows women undergoing this to have something to be proud of, something with no shame attached.”

She added: “We wanted women to know that you can still be feminine, have your sensuality, have all of the things that are attached to being a woman and that part of your body can still feel beautiful on the outside, as well as the inside.”

The Louise Listening Bra will retail for $125 exclusively at stellamccartney.com beginning Oct. 1 and all proceeds will benefit the Hello Beautiful Foundation.
