StyleBlazer Man: Supreme Debuts Brooks Brothers Seersucker Suit

While news of the Supreme Brooks Brothers collection sort of leaked (and then was eventually confirmed) before, it’s only now that Supreme has released comprehensive imagery of their impending collaboration. With a drop set for May 1 in Supreme stores and on the Supreme webstore exclusively, we’re going to go ahead and guess that you should start making plans to stake your claim now.

The collaboration foregoes the collection route in favor of the suit: one seersucker suit, to be exact. Brooks Brothers was the first company to introduce seersucker suits to America in 1830, making the collaboration a significant historical statement almost 200 years later. For the style, the two brands chose the Fitzgerald fit which is a design of Brooks Brothers’ that comes fairly slim–though not to the Hedi Slimane extent.

For the uninformed, seersucker is a prime fabric for the coming summer season as it’s breathable and light. The suit also features a center back vent (pro tip: open the back vent and snip off the sleeve labels once you actually buy the suit).

And of course, for those who need a head to toe look there’s a matching seersucker bucket hat, which retails at $68 while the full suit retails at $549. Seems like perfect Sunday summer dressing to us. Click through for an up-close look at the Supreme Brooks Brother suit collaboration.
