Stylight Enters US Market, Challenging Lyst And ShopStyle
Six years ago, four Munich-based founders launched Stylight to serve shoppers by helping them navigate and discover brands and products online. The site acts as an aggregator for over 100 e-commerce sites. The German company is now set to launch in the United States, giving similar sites such as Lyst and ShopStyle a run for their money. This will be Stylight’s 14th market to expand to, but with the biggest potential.
The site also functions as a place where people (mostly fashion bloggers) can go to create outfits to share and publish, as well as adding items to a running wishlist. CEO Benjamin Guenther tells Fashionista that their “search functionality and personalization features have been a huge part of the team’s work.”
For the U.S. launch, the startup will partner with Gap, Ralph Lauren, Urban Outfitters, ASOS, and Ssense. Look out for their official launch, set for October 16.
