Taylor Swift’s break from music was…well “swift” to say the least. After a summer of gallivanting with supermodel besties Karlie Kloss and Lily Aldridge, the country darling finally unleashed her new single “Shake It Off” to eager fans. Although the song is predictably catchy and poised to top the Billboard charts, the accompanying visuals are being heavily criticized for its cultural appropriation of the “urban” world with break dancers and twerkers.
