This Is How Lily-Rose Depp and Mom Vanessa Paradis Do Black Tie

Cindy and Kaia. Yolanda, Gigi and Bella. Christie and Sailor. Supermodel moms and their model mini-mes are everywhere right now — and we can’t look away. You too? Well, good news: Vanessa Paradis and Lily-Rose Depp just had another high-fashion mother-daughter date night across the pond.

The duo attended the launch party for Chanel’s new Mademoiselle Privé Exhibition at London’s Saatchi Gallery on Monday night, and their black-tie looks did not disappoint. The 16-year-old fledgling model selected a calf-grazing, ruffle-embellished lilac dress with beading on the straps and neckline. She finished the look with black ankle-strap heels, a cropped sparkly jacket and statement cat-eye.
Her mom selected a long, flowy emerald gown with a beaded bodice and wore her hair pulled back in plaits for the event.

Lily-Rose’s dad Johnny Depp (talk about good genes) recently told Germany’s Gala magazine (via The Daily Telegraph) that he’s “quite worried,” about the 16-year-old’s modeling career.
“I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age. But it’s her passion and she’s having fun,” he said.
But it looks like there is no stopping the young star, who has definitely been inducted into the chic Chanel crew. At Monday’s event she snapped photos with Karl’s other muse, Cara Delevingne. She’s also friends with model Stella Maxwell and looks really comfortable around a glam squad. (See the Instagram proof below.)
Oh, and then there was that time she was hanging out with Rita Ora who happened to be wearing the same outfit as her mom.
