Tia Mowry-Hardrict Knew Sister Tamera Was Pregnant Before She Announced It (Call It ‘Twin Telepathy!’)

If you find shopping for Mother’s Day impossible — what do you get the woman who has everything, since you are her daughter, after all? — you’re not alone. (And we’ve got plenty of inspiration here if you need it.) Luckily, celeb mom Tia Mowry-Hardrict has plenty of expertise and is ready to dish on the subject.

As mother to 3-year-old Cree, the Instant Mom star now has enough Mother’s Days under her belt to know it’s going to be a good one. “I’ve celebrated Mother’s Day for almost four years, and it never gets old,” she said during the Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds Brunch event in N.Y.C. “On Mother’s Day, I like to feel pampered, I like to feel celebrated, I like to feel honored, I like to feel glamorous.” (Thus she’s a fan of the White Diamonds Lustre scent, which she says is “opulent.”)

And this year, she plans to celebrate her day to the fullest extent — with a splurge-y visit to the spa. “This oxygen facial is un-freaking-believable, and it’s actually one of the only places you can have it done,” she told PEOPLE. “I absolutely love it. I feel like I’ve gotten a face-lift after it, because they pump oxygen into your pores. It’s a little pricey but worth it.” (After all, a relaxed and happy mom is truly priceless.)

Long before getting treated themselves, Mowry-Hardrict and her twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley had plenty of practice spoiling their own mom, Darlene Mowry, and this year is no different. “I like to get my mom flowers, because she’s a huge fan of orchids,” she told PEOPLE. “So I’ll definitely get her [a] nice orchid arrangement from Mark’s Garden, which is one of my favorite places.”

And her pregnant twin is also headed off to the spa for some time off her feet. “For my sister, [I’ll get her] some type of treatment at the spa — a facial, a manicure, a pedicure, just something that she really needs since right now she can’t even see her feet!”

Tamera didn’t have to come close to showing before Tia knew she was expecting her second child. “It’s a twin type of telepathy. My sister and I, we share the same DNA, so on paper, we’re the same person,” she told PEOPLE. “I knew she was pregnant like right away — it’s so crazy — but I asked her, and she said yes.”

Even crazier? Tamera knew when her twin was pregnant, too! “We cannot hide anything from each other. I know how she’s feeling and vice versa,” she said. “I can tell right away if she’s hiding something, so secrets don’t work with the Mowry twins!”
