Tori Kelly Is the New Face of William Rast! Get an Exclusive Look at Her Brand-New Ads

Tori Kelly may have gotten her music career start on YouTube, but now, the pop star is quickly making a name for herself in the fashion world: She’s just been named the face of William Rast!

The 22-year-old singer is joining the brand, which was founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala in 2005, as its newest brand ambassador, starring in its Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 campaign ads.
“I’m so thrilled to be partnering up with William Rast,” she tells PeopleStyle. “I’m such a fan of the brand and being a part of the new campaign has been amazing.”
From shooting the campaigns to testing out the new pieces, Kelly says joining the William Rast family has been nothing short of a good time.
“I’m not just saying this, [but] it was one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever been a part of,” she says. “The whole crew was so easy to work with and all the models were great. I felt so comfortable on set. It was just a fun, smooth day overall.”

The “Hollow” singer describes her personal wardrobe as understated, edgy and classy, admitting she dresses for comfort.
“My style is understated because everything I wear, I want it to have an effortless feel to it,” she tells People. “I always want to be comfortable in my clothes and feel like myself, but I like to usually throw in some edge in there somewhere, even just with a leather jacket. But overall, always gotta keep it classy!”

So it’s no surprise the star gravitated toward the label’s High Rise Skinny Jeans while on set, which she ended up wearing in the ads, along with its Leather Moto Jacket.
“I’ve always been a fan of a good skinny jean, which William Rast does so well,” she says. “I can dress them up or down, and they feel good throughout a long day.”
And because William Rast was co-founded by Timberlake, we had to ask Kelly about the star. But because of JT’s crazy-busy busy schedule (don’t forget — he’s a father now!), Kelly hasn’t met the former boy-bander.
But she will be hitting the carpet with him Thursday night at the Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars gala in N.Y.C. — and we’re guessing she’s probably really excited (more like, freaking out!).
