Update: T-Pain Wins April Fools! FKA Twigs And ‘Ol’ Patty’ Not Engaged

Update: T-Pain is the official winner of April Fools 2015, after making it seem that he let it slip that FKA Twigs was engaged to Robert Pattinson.

T-Pain revealed his April Fools prank on Instagram, with a picture of two gold wedding bands.

We believed the autotuned singer, and got our hopes up on a FKA Twigs wedding like so many people. However, we have our fingers crossed that the Aaliyah news is true!

T-Pain let the cat out of the bag, and revealed that one of his favorite artists FKA Twigs is engaged to Robert Pattinson.

Why FKA Twigs would share that sensitive information with the “Up Down” singer we will never know, but we are sure glad she did.

In the interview with Vulture, T-Pain was asked if FKA Twigs would be on his next album, which is when he said a little bit too much. “Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio. Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.”

When asked by the interviewer if he was sure FKA Twigs and the “Twilight” star were really engaged, T-Pain realized his mistake and answered, “Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that …” Not only did T-Pain confirm news he shouldn’t have shared in the first place, but he also revealed his very fun nickname for Pattinson.

FKA Twigs is notorious for keeping her personal life and relationship with Pattinson private, so we can only guess that T-Pain is no longer invited to the wedding.

FKA Twigs recently made news for her impressive music video, which she directed herself. She also attended the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty gala wearing the designer’s famous Birds of Paradise gown.

That was the only big news T-Pain shared. He also revealed a new Aaliyah album is in the works, with unheard vocals and collaborations.
