Victor Cruz: From Football Player To Model Now Designer

Victor Cruz At The NFL Shop at Super Bowl
Project by project, Victor Cruz has been upping his standing in the fashion industry. What started off as him posing as a style darling has turned the NFL footballer into a player with at least a little bit of power in the industry. Just this week in fact, Cruz was tapped as an ambassador for New York Fashion Week: Men’s.

The naming isn’t his first big get by far. You might recall when he was tapped as the face of Givenchy just a few weeks ago. This came after quite a bit of cultivation, with Cruz wearing designs by the Parisian-based, Italian-helmed brand both on the red carpet and off. He got the ultimate thank you in an ad campaign which undoubtedly comes with coins, a permanent bump to his wardrobe and suits for any and every red carpet for this season.

And while we may ask him about that when we undoubtedly spot him front row at the inaugural NYFW: Men’s, it’s more likely we’ll talk about his more recent news. The model turns designer in a project out this September with cult denim brand 3×1. Spanning five pieces, the collaboration includes shirts, jeans and even a jacket. Whatever the price point is, you should definitely consider getting pieces as all proceeds go to charity.

While we wait for it to drop, take a look at Cruz’s journey in style over the past two years.
