VMAs 2015: The Best Coordinating Couple Style of the Night (Hi, Kimye!)

With so many sexy, skintight, nearly-naked moments from the ladies at the MTV Video Music Awards, we almost didn’t notice standout style from the dudes. But a few definitely caught our eye — and they just happened to match their dates. Kim and Kanye West chose to sport the same color palette, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend went with all-black everything and Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh brought a whole new meaning to denim-on-denim. Here’s the VMAs most stylish matchy-matchy couple moments.

First up, the Video Vanguard Award winner, (that would be future President of the United States Kanye West) who went super casual with his textured sweatshirt, rolled-up khakis and matching sneakers. And even Mrs. West went a little more subtle than usual in a long lace-up gown that concealed her growing baby bump. Her cleavage, however? Not-so-subtle.

Chrissy Teigen left her undergarments at home in a super-sexy sheer Marchesa gown. Legend looked tailored up top, with a V-neck tee and black jacket, but edgy on the bottom with leather coated pants.

And finally, the couple who ruled the Grammys scene in their matching Adidas track suits (remember, they changed color with each camera flash?) did it again — this time in full-on denim looks. Lasichanh layered a chambray shirt under her distressed denim overalls, while Pharrell went with a jean jacket and classic blue jeans. But solidifying their matchy-matchy couple moment? The matching accessories! They both sported the same bracelets, lace-up boots and black hats.
