We’re Calling It: This Is Officially the ‘It’ Summer Denim

The “song of the summer” might still be up for grabs (we’re taking nominations in the comments!) but the denim of the summer has been firmly decided. It’s J Brand’s Patch Pocket flares, and the style is currently being worn by, oh, every celebrity whose style you want to emulate.

We knew they were an early contender by March, when flares were coming back on the scene in a big way and every celeb had a different way to style them. But since then, the mid-rise flare style with its retro front pockets has been spotted on everyone from Selena Gomez to Florence Welch, with tons of style inspiration along the way.
