Growing up, I thought technology had reached its full style potential when I watched Cher and Dion chat on their cell phones right next to each other. As if!
I dreamed of a day when I could be equally fashionable and up-to-date on technological advances in such a chic manner.
As technology progressed and headquartered majority of its origins in Silicon Valley, fashion was often not a word you heard associated with this industry. However, long gone are the days that “geeks” are the only ones creating and sporting the latest in tech.
The fashion industry wants a part, too and are making it known with these innovative wearables. The Apple Watch will be out in April, and Beyonce was just spotted wearing an Opening Ceremony varsity jacket that can charge your cell phone courtside.
While Google glass might have failed, designers are just beginning to scratch the surface when it comes to wearable tech.
