Why Caroline Manzo Wore White to Her Daughter Lauren’s Wedding (Plus, See What the Rest of the Real Housewives of New Jersey Stars Wore!)

On Saturday, Lauren Manzo (whose mom is Caroline Manzo from Real Housewives of New Jersey fame) tied the knot with her longtime love, Vito Scalia, in a fairy-tale wedding (judging from the pics on their adorable hashtag: #happywifedelilife). And yes, it’s been a while since the show was on the air, so we stalked the hashtag for some Housewives style happenings. Luckily, Kathy Wakile, Melissa Gorga and more took to Instagram to share their wedding guest outfits!

First up, Real Housewife Kathy Wakile got edgy, matching her lavender Nicole Bakti lace gown to some freshly dyed purple highlights. She thanked hair stylist Julius Michael for surprising her with the new do and shared plenty of selfies throughout the night showing it off.

There were a few with her husband Richie (whose only post of the wedding was the next day with the caption, “Hung over like a #Mofo”).

And Kathy even shared one of her sister. Rosie!

Lauren’s aunt, Jacqueline Laurita, stunned in a long two-toned Hartly gown featuring a cutout sheer bodice.

Jacqueline did a quick dress swap for the reception, posing in a midi LBD with her daughter (and bridesmaid) Ashlee Holmes wearing a teardrop neckline gown and with Melissa Gorga in a Minaly dress with a scallop, perforated hemline.

And Melissa’s husband, Joe Gorga, showed his bold take on menswear, wearing plaid pants paired with a black jacket, shirt and tie.

Dina Manzo was notably absent from all social media pics (and has had an infamously strained relationship with her sister Caroline). But her daughter Lexi Ioannou was in attendance, and she looked stunning in a champagne-colored halter bridesmaid gown.

Greg Bennet (family friend and funnyman) started his “bridesman” duties off in a white “emoji dancing girl” T-shirt.

And he even sported personalized suspenders under his suit.

As for the mother of the bride’s strapless, tiered cream design, she assured fans that Lauren wanted her in a matching white color.
