For centuries (okay not centuries, but decades) single women have longed for a leader, and we get one and then lose her because she eventually gets married and leaves us. Note: Beyonce’s Single Ladies. 

Even our fictional eternal single girl Carrie Bradshaw was irresponsibly married off to Big. But alas a new leader has emerged in the form of Rihanna. Am I the only person who took notice of these gems she’s been dropping as of late about dating?

For this reason Ms. Fenty is now my dating coach. 

Hear me out. Rihanna was involved in what was arguably the most highly publicized on again off again relationship of all time. Not only did she endure the scrutiny of becoming the poster child for domestic abuse, she also became involved in a love triangle that was on display for everyone to see. Long story short the girl has been through some things, and as a 27-year-old woman who is dominating in her industry, she has the war wounds to prove it, she finally gets it.
