Zac Efron Is Showing a Lot of His Abs on Set (PHOTOS)

No, this isn’t an old photo of Zac Efron from Coachella. It’s just a peek at his wardrobe for the upcoming film Dirty Grandpa.

Surprisingly, Efron doesn’t play an ’80s bodybuilder. The fringe crop top and neon (blood stained?) harem sweatpants are just part of his wardrobe for the movie, set to release in 2016. Efron stars opposite Robert De Niro as young man who is forced to take his strict army vet grandpa (De Niro) on Spring Break to Florida. That’s all we know so far. Oh, and that Efron also ends up practically naked in the film. Photos from the Georgia set Tuesday show the 27-year-old actor almost in the buff, wearing only a pair of nude briefs with “Team Hornets” written across his chest.

Off set, Efron has been spending a lot of time with his new girlfriend, model Sami Miró. Last week, the couple was spotted together at a karaoke club in West Hollywood.

“He was really affectionate with her and caressed her back while they talked to friends,” a source told PEOPLE. “They danced to Reggae music and the two seemed really happy.”
