Amar’e Stoudemire who sign with the New York Knicks for 100 Million dollars back in 2010-2011 season may be on his way out of the big town. Stoudemire who is in his last year of his contract is schedule to make $23.4 million. Stoudemire has put it out there that he may ask the New York Knicks for a buyout of his contract. Stoudemire who was voted an all star his first year with the Knicks has been injured prone. After seeing the direction the knicks are heading with Phill Jackson leaning on Melo as the face of the team, Stoudemire may be looking to go else where. Stoudemire stated “All possibilities at this point are still open. The door is still open for that. But at the same time, I am with the Knicks now. I got to stay optimistic about things and what we are doing here. I can’t really focus on the future because it’s not here.” Knicks who are currently 10 -41 with no realistic chance of a playoff picture are the worst team in the East. Stoudemire may be looking to join a playoff team and get out of dodge with the knicks.
